On November 31, 2023, Mr. Ru Jialin, Deputy Director, Ms. Xiao Xiang and Mr. Zhang Zhengbo, Researchers of International Affairs at China Photovoltaic Industry Association (CPIA) visited the Embassy of Malaysia in China, and conducted in-depth discussions with Investment Counselor and Director Mr. Wong Tiang Sing, Second Secretary and Assistant Director Ms. Teo Cho Cheng, and Investment Officer Mr. Charles Chao, at the Investment Section of the Embassy of Malaysia in Beijing and Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA) Beijing Office.

The two sides conducted in-depth discussions on topics including Malaysian investment policies and preferential measures for foreign investment, and China-Malaysia cooperation in the photovoltaic sector, etc. The two sides agreed to build bridges for cooperation between the two countries’ companies to promote the healthy and high-quality development of PV industries in China and Malaysia.
