On May 18, 2023, China Photovoltaic Industry Association (CPIA) held a webinar with the Spanish Solar Photovoltaic Association (UNEF). Mr. Ru Jialin, Deputy Director of International Affairs of the CPIA, briefed on the latest developments and future trends of China’s PV industry. Mr. José Donoso, General Director of the UNEF, and Mr. Ricardo Cortés, Director of Institutional and International Relations of the UNEF, introduced the UNEF briefly and shared information about the developments of Spanish and EU PV markets. The two sides also discussed issues concerning solar panel recycling in Spain. Mr. Bai Hualin and Ms. Xiao Xiang, researchers at the CPIA, also attended the meeting.

The two sides agreed to hold more conversations to enhance communication and cooperation between Chinese and Spanish PV companies, promote the development of PV industries in China and Spain, and contribute to energy transition globally.
